Background Info

Fraud is increasing across Canada and around the globe.
In July 2023, StatsCanada reported that between 2014 and 2019, Canadians reported fraud losses of $16 Billion. (O’Neill, N (2023, July 25) “Canadians reported $16B in fraud losses in five years: report”. CTV News. https://ctvnews.ca/business).
